We have now changed our cycle of bi-monthly brochures so the next one will cover August and September; we will be producing a special leaflet for all events and activities during the summer holidays. My manager's choice in June is the film - The Sense of an Ending with the hugely talented Jim Broadbent. The following month we welcome back Crash Bang Wallop Youth Theatre with Legally Blonde - reviews of Spamalot, their last production, said - “such talent, professionalism and energy from the whole cast and crew” - don’t miss this show - it will be more of the same. USEFUL INFOrmatiON - HOW TO BOOK In person: The Box Office is open Monday to Friday 9.30am – 3.30pm and 11am – 1pm on Saturdays. By phone: 01609 776230 Online: Book online and select your own seat at www.forumnorthallerton.org.uk. A fee of £1 per transaction will be added to all telephone and internet bookings to cover the charge we incur on these transactions. Ticket Collection: We don’t send tickets in the post. You can collect your tickets from the Box Office during normal opening hours (see above). Alternatively, your tickets will be available for collection on the evening of the performance from the box office. In order to collect your tickets please bring with you your Transaction number and the card you used to pay for them. The Box Office will open approximately 45 minutes prior to the start of a performance. Rake Seating: This is our standard seating. The seats step up towards the back of the auditorium. Flat Seating: These seats are additional rows of seating set out on the flat. They are particularly suitable for people who may have difficulty using the stairs. Wheelchair seats: The seats suitable for wheelchair users are marked on the seating plan in purple. Carer Discount: For Forum Events only we offer one free ticket for the companion of a disabled person who would not be able to attend a performance alone. Concessions: Where offered the following discounts apply: Senior Citizen tickets are for those 60 and over. Children’s tickets are for 3 to 16 year olds, Student tickets are for 16+ and still in full time education. On Baby Friendly screenings we will issue a free ticket to those under 3. The discounts on offer will vary show to show. Refunds: Tickets cannot be refunded after purchase. Where an event is sold out we may open a waiting list for people wanting tickets. In those circumstances we may consider refunding unwanted tickets. Gift Vouchers: Did you know you can purchase The Forum Gift Vouchers from our box office? They are the perfect gift for your friends and family. Latecomers: If you miss the start of a performance our volunteers will admit you to the auditorium at an appropriate point in the performance. Programme changes: The Management reserve the right to make alterations to the programme. Please check the website or Facebook before booking for the latest information. Facilities: We have a main auditorium seating up to 376 people. a secondary space seating 150 and a number of meeting rooms. Baby changing facilities are available in the ladies’ toilets. Any men needing to change a baby or toddler may use the disabled toilet. A disabled toilet is situated just off the Foyer. It is a fully serviced Changing Places facility. Hearing loop is available in the main auditorium. Car Park: Hambleton District Council car park is adjacent to The Forum. Short-stay is from 80p per hour to £3.20 long stay all day. Disabled badge holders can park for free in the bays provided but must pay normal rates if no blue badge bays are available. Free after 6pm. Royal Opera House Live and The Forum Present Ballet Triple Bill Sunday 11th June at 7.15pm Tickets £15/£12.50/£10 This gorgeous mixed programme demonstrates the great creative vision of Frederick Ashton, Founder Choreographer of The Royal Ballet.The Dream is Ashton’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s riotous comedy in which a forest sprite plays havoc, armed with a love potion. Ashton’s Symphonic Variations was his first work after World War II and one of the first to be performed at the Royal Opera House. Marguerite and Arman is his beautiful and emotional retelling of the story from opera La Traviata. It was created for Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev in 1963. National Theatre Live and The Forum present Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead Thursday 15th June at 7pm Tickets £15/£12.50/£10 Half a century after its premiere on The Old Vic stage, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, the play that made a young Tom Stoppard’s name overnight, returns to The Old Vic in its 50th anniversary celebratory production.
