Member Profile Adam Mednick Lund, Sweden dam Mednick was born in 1966 in Bethesda, Md. in the U.S. and grew up in Woodstock, N.Y., Aspen, Colo.A and Sun Valley, Idaho. He moved to Gävle, Sweden as an 8-year-old with his Swedish mother and started his golfing career as a caddy at the age of 12. He caddied mostly for his golfing buddy, Christian Härdin, who later won the British Amateur in 1988, with Adam on the bag (who was knocked out in an early round). He caddied for Christian in the 1989 Masters Tournament. As an amateur, Adam finished second in the British Boys, 1984, won the Scottish Youths Championship in 1986 and won five Swedish National Championships. He turned pro in 1989 with one victory on the European Tour – in 2002 at Ballyliffin, Ireland – and six on the Challenge Tour.
