Educational Policy Studies 1 EDUCATIONAL POLICY STUDIES The Department of Educational Policy Studies offers many courses for undergraduate students. Multidisciplinary courses in the history, sociology, anthropology, and philosophy of education, comparative and international education, and educational equity are available to all students. Courses in policy analysis emphasize the social context and implications of policies and their implementation on equity, justice, and well-being. The department has strong ties with institutions and scholars in other countries. The Department of Educational Policy Studies offers an undergraduate degree program in Education Studies (https://guide.wisc.edu/ undergraduate/education/educational-policy-studies/education-studies- bs/). The Bachelor of Science degree in Education Studies is designed to meet the needs of a growing number of undergraduate students who are interested in becoming involved in the realm of educational history, policy and practice in the U.S. and/or globally. Major course work offers the multidisciplinary training needed to answer questions regarding domestic and global education policy and practice. The popular Educational Policy Studies (EPS) Certificate (https:// guide.wisc.edu/undergraduate/education/educational-policy- studies/educational-policy-studies-certificate/) is also available to all undergraduate students.
