The center, the first of its kind in Orange County, also offers educational programs on how to recognize signs of domes- tic abuse. Family crime cases and educational programs will be handled by a staff that includes detectives, victim advocates, prosecuting attorneys, social service providers and domestic violence shelters. “We wanted to see a collaborative approach to dealing with family crimes,”said Anaheim Police Chief John Welter.
