The first commercial application was in 1897 when a fleet of electrical NYC taxi cabs hit the streets. www.flastergreenberg.com Phase II • The second significant phase of electric cars was the result of the energy crisis of the 1970s and 1980s. • In the early 1990s, the California Air Resources Board began to push for more fuel efficient, lower emission vehicles with the ultimate goal of moving to zero emission vehicles, such as electric vehicles. • During this phase, very few units were ever produced, sold, or released to the public; nearly all of them were destroyed. www.flastergreenberg.com Phase II Cont’d Some of these vehicles include: • RAV4 EV • EV1 • Honda EV Plus • Ford Electric Ranger • Nissan Altra • Chevrolet S-10 Electric • Chrysler Epic Electric Minivan • Phoenix Motorcars Sport Utility Truck • Solectria Force Chevy S-10 Electric www.flastergreenberg.com Where Are We Now? www.flastergreenberg.com Phase III – The Future Is Now Electric cars are now available for purchase or exclusively by lease: Think City • BMW Megacity • Volvo C30 Electric • BYD E6 • Wheego Whip Life • Chevy Volt • The eBox • Coda (Electric Sedan) • Aptera 2e • Ford Transit Connect Electric • Bad Boy Buggies • Mercedes BlueZero • BG C100 • Mini E • Dynasty IT • Mitsubishi iMiEV • Flybo or XFD-6000ZK • Nissan LEAF • GEM • Pininfarina Blue Car • Kurrent • Renault Fluence • Myers NmG • Smart ED • Reva/G-Whiz • Subaru R1E • Tango T600 • Toyota FT-EV • VentureOne • Tesla Model S • ZAP Xebra • Tesla Roadster • • ZENN Car www.flastergreenberg.com Plug-In Hybrids Plug-in Hybrids are now available for purchase or exclusively by lease: • Chevy Volt • Fisker Karma • Ford Escape Plug-In Hybrid • Volvo V70 Plug-in Hybrid • Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid • Mitsubishi PX-MiEV • Ford C-MAX Energi www.flastergreenberg.com Hybrid Cars Hybrid cars are now available for purchase or exclusively by lease: • Toyota Prius Liftback • Lexus GS 450h • Honda Civic Hybrid • GMC Sierra Hybrid • Honda Insight • Mercedes ML 450 Hybrid • Lexus CT 200h • Mercedes S400 BlueHybrid • Toyota Camry Hybrid • Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid • Ford Fusion Hybrid • Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid • Lincoln MKZ Hybrid • Chevrolet Silverado Hybrid • Honda CR-Z Hybrid • Lexus LS 600h L • Hyundai Sonata Hybrid • Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid • Kia Optima Hybrid • Cadillac Escalade Hybrid • Lexus HS 250h • GMC Yukon Hybrid • Ford Escape Hybrid • BMW ActiveHybrid • Lexus RX 450h • BMW X6 Hybrid • Infiniti M35h Hybrid • Toyota Prius V • Buick LaCrosse eAssist • Audi Q5 Hybrid • Toyota Highlander • Porsche Panamera S Hybrid • Volkswagen Up!
