KEY LEADERSHIP Kirsten Komoroske Executive Director of The Walt Disney Family Museum A San Francisco Bay Area native, Kirsten Komoroske is the executive director of The Walt Disney Family Museum. As a practicing lawyer, Ms. Komoroske has specialized in advising nonprofit organizations and corporations on a wide range of strategic, business, and human resources issues throughout her career. Ms. Komoroske has held a number of executive and board positions, including General Counsel and Vice President of Human Resources at Tyco Electronics Corporation, Interim Vice President of Human Resources at Groupon, Inc., and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA. She has a background in and lifelong passion for the arts, having grown up studying violin and modern dance. She received a BA in Italian from UC Berkeley and a JD from Santa Clara University. THE BOARD Diane Disney Miller Co-Founder of The Walt Disney Family Museum Diane Disney Miller, the first daughter of Walt Disney and Lillian Bounds Disney, is co-founder of The Walt Disney Family Museum and President of the Board of Directors of the Walt Disney Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization. The Foundation was established in 1995 and strives to promote education, writing, and scholarship about Walt Disney. Mrs. Miller is well known for her extensive philanthropic work in the Bay Area and throughout the United States. In addition to her work on founding The Walt Disney Family Museum in the Presidio of San Francisco, Mrs. Miller played a key role in the successful completion of the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and has served on the Board of Governors of San Francisco Symphony. Mrs. Miller and her husband, Ronald W. Miller, own the Silverado Vineyards Winery in Napa Valley. The couple has seven children and 13 grandchildren.
