Philippines - Mindanao: Effects of Magnitude 6.7 Earthquake in Surigao City, Surigao del Norte (13 February 2017) At 10:03 p.m. on 10 February 2017, a 6.7 magnitude earthquake with depth of four kilometres and epicenter located near Surigao City caused loss of lives Manila Samar Eastern and damage to properties in the Caraga region Samar particularly in Surigao del Norte province. The Tacloban (3) Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported no tsunami threat but more aftershocks.
