SPORTS IN LOS ANGELES AND ORANGE COUNTIES: An Economic Impact Analysis The partnership between the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) and the Los Angeles Sports Council (LASC) quantifies the importance of sports to the Greater Los Angeles Region Here in Los Angeles, we know sports are more than just good entertainment — they drive our economic dynamism and expand opportunities for Angelenos and families across our region.
