We have come a long way in terms of representation but we are still a long way from being properly representative of all communities . This is why the launch of the Bernie Grant leadership programme for BAME members has been so important . Our team has been working hard delivering the outcomes of the Democracy Review, ensuring our members’ voices are heard and that we are genuinely a lay member-led organisation .
