BRYANT RABBINO HELD NOTABLE EVENTS DURING NYSABPRL Caucus Weekend 2016 Bryant Rabbino LLP held two notable events in its new Albany office during the 45th Annual Legislative Conference Weekend hosted by the New York State Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators, Inc. On Saturday, February 13th, Bryant Rabbino LLP co-hosted with the Buffalo-based Urban Chamber of Commerce the “Buffalo to Brooklyn” reception to honor Assemblywoman Crystal D. Peoples-Stokes (Buffalo), Senator Ruth Hassell-Thompson (Mt. Vernon) and District Attorney Kenneth Thompson (Brooklyn). Assemblywoman Rodneyse Bichotte (Brooklyn) gave remarks and introduced both Assemblywoman Peoples-Stokes and Senator Hassell-Thompson and Congressman Hakeem Jeffries (Brooklyn) gave remarks and introduced District Attorney Thompson. Other notable attendees included Speaker of the New York State Assembly, Carl Heastie (Bronx), Assemblyman Robert Rodriguez (Harlem), Senator Jesse Hamilton (Brooklyn), Assemblywoman Pamela Hunter (Syracuse), Public Advocate for the City of New York, Letitia James, and Buffalo Councilman Ulysees Wingo, Sr. (Masten District). On Sunday, February 14th, Bryant Rabbino LLP co-hosted a reception for Higher Heights for America, a national organization dedicated to strengthening Black women’s political engagement, participation, leadership and power. The “Sunday Brunch with Higher Heights” honored the Reverend Leah Daughtry, CEO of the 2016 Democratic National Convention. The co-founders of Higher Heights for America, Glynda C. Carr and Kimberly Peeler-Allen, were both in attendance.
