With the theme “Psychosomatic Medicine: Innovation and Opportunity in Community Practice Setting,” we look forward to an exciting and rewarding MEETING experience with colleagues and friends. This is the Academy’s main event of the year and we are confident that it will meet your expectations for professional growth. An exciting group of plenary speakers will highlight our theme: Dr. John Oldham, President of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. James Rundell and Dr. Roger Kathol. We have a wealth of ideas and research information to learn from pre-conference courses, concurrent paper sessions, a poster session, workshops and symposia, chosen Psychosomatic from hundreds of submissions. The Hackett Award lecture by Dr. William Breitbart and the Research Award lecture by Dr. Andrea DiMartini will be high points, and the Awards & Medicine: Fellowship Convocation luncheon will provide an opportunity to recognize colleagues’ Innovation and contributions to our specialty.
