Leisure and Development Report – Appoint the lowest Inclusive Beach, East Strand tenderer, RDC Contracts, Portrush, Improving beach with a tender price of £74, 127.40, in order to accessibility – in partnership with May renovate the Water Sports Murray Foundation Centre at East Strand to provide a dedicated ‘Changing Places’ facility that includes storage for accessible beach equipment sourced by the Mae Murray Foundation. Corporate Policy and Resources It is recommended that Report – Leases and Licences – Council surrenders the Peace IV Shaping Our Place – licence with The “Old Bushmills” Distillery Bushmills Project Company Limited (Bushmills Distillery) and agrees the terms of the commercial lease as set out and enters into a 10 year lease with the Distillery. Council agrees to sub-let the land to the Bushmills Community Association for the total of 9 years and 364 days, or the day before the lease with the Distillery ends, at the rent of one peppercorn and on the same terms and over the same area as the lease to Council and will be responsible for 1, 2, 3 and 4 in proposal. If council agrees to proceed with this project, legal advice would be to sublease the full site to Bushmills Community Association as per the terms of the lease from the Distillery to Council, to ensure 1, 2, 3 and 4 in proposal.
