19.00.0000.530.68.000.20-556 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh presents its compliments to all Diplomatic Missions and Offices of the UN Agencies and International Organizations in Dhaka and has the honor to inform that commencing from 00:00 hrs on 26 July 2020 any foreign national, apart from Diplomatic, Official and Laissez Passer holders posted in Diplomatic Missions and UN/International Organizations in Bangladesh and their family members, intending to depart for any international destination from Bangladesh shall have to obtain “COVID-19 Test Certificate” from any government approved hospitals/organizations within 72 hours of his/her departure (list of the hospitals enclosed). However, this directive will not be applicable for any foreign national who will stay in Bangladesh for less than a period of 14 (fourteen) days at a stretch. The Ministry has further the honor to intimate that this directive will in no way prevent the foreign nationals/diplomats to carry “COVID-19 Test Certificate” as per the directives of the Government of the destination country or relevant airlines. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, avails itself of this opportunity to renew to all Diplomatic Missions and Offices of the UN Agencies and International Organizations in Dhaka, the assurances of its highest consideration.
