Baca, Sheriff LAPD vs. LASD Fight for Life, Battle to Beat Cancer On Friday, November 30, 2012, deputies from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department will face off against officers from the Los Angeles Police Department and other law enforcement agencies throughout the state in the 19th Annual City of Hope “Fight for Life” charity boxing match. East Los Angeles Station is proud to be the spark for this fundraising event that started in 1994.
