ABBREVIATED WAR-TIME EDITION This publication is an abbreviated war-time edi- tion of the catalog covering the regular college pro- gram for the period of 1942-1945. No catalog has been published since August, 1942, and this current edition includes the registers of regular students for the sessions of 1942-1943, 1943-1944, 1944-1945, and the summer semesters of 1943 and 1944. This abbreviated catalog is restricted to the regular college program and does not include the curricula or lists of trainees for the Air Corps Col- lege Training Detachment, the Basic and Advanced Army Specialized Training Programs, and the Army Specialized Training Reserve Program. This catalog does not include the many courses taught under the program of Engineering, Science and Management War Training. Clemson College has served the war effort through the training of approximately five thousand service men on the campus and through the training of three thousand men and women for war industries. Except for a few changes in the curricula and such additional programs as may become available, this catalog also serves as an announcement for the 1945-1946 session. However, the college is continu- ing the war-time practice of issuing special an- nouncements in the form of bulletins which are published at regular intervals. A copy of the current bulletin, as well as additional information concern- ing short courses, refresher courses, and graduate work, may be secured by addressing the Registrar, Clemson College, Clemson, South Carolina.
