DAY 1 & 2: SINGAPORE − AUCKLAND Check-in at Changi International Airport for your scheduled flight to Auckland. You will spend a night onboard the flight and arrive in Auckland the following day. Upon arrival, seat-in coach passengers will be transferred to their accommodation while self-drive clients will collect their vehicle at the airport and make their way to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. DAY 3: AUCKLAND – WAITOMO – ROTORUA Today, we will travel south of Auckland to Rotorua via the famous Waitomo Caves where a guided Waitomo Caves tour with a boat trip through the glow-worm grotto is included. In the evening, enjoy a Maori Hangi feast and a cultural performance with Tamaki Maori Village. DAY 4: ROTORUA We will begin the day with a visit to Te Puia Thermal Reserve, where you will see boiling mud pools and steaming geysers, before heading to Rainbow Springs for a chance to learn more about New Zealand’s native bushes as well as native birds which includes the Kiwi bird. Finally, a visit to Rotorua is not complete without experiencing the Agrodome to learn more about the farming heritage with an entertaining farm show. The afternoon is free to enjoy Rotorua at your leisure. Rainbow Springs DAY 5: ROTORUA – CHRISTCHURCH Today, seat-in coach passengers will be transferred from their hotel to Rotorua Airport; self-drive passengers will return their rental car to the airport before their departure flight to Christchurch. Upon arrival at Christchurch, seat-in coach passengers will be transferred to their accommodation while self-drive clients will collect their vehicle at the airport and make their way to the hotel. DAY 6: CHRISTCHURCH – SOUTHERN ALPS – THE GLACIERS After breakfast, seat-in coach passengers will take the Tranz Alpine Train while self-drive passengers Tranz Alpine Train will drive from Christchurch across the Southern Alps and head south along the rugged West Coast to the Glacier region. Self-drive passengers are recommended to take Arthur’s Pass, which is the highest of the three mountain passes crossing the Southern Alps and offers outstanding vistas. For self-drive passengers, admission to the Glacier Hot Pools located in Franz Josef is included. **Overnight stay will be either Franz Josef or Fox Glacier. DAY 7: THE GLACIERS – QUEENSTOWN In the morning, we will leave the Glacier region and embark on one of the most spectacular tour routes in New Zealand. Along the way, the scenery changes from the wild West Coast beaches and abundant rainforest to vast mountain vistas. We will finally arrive at the Southern Lakes District, which consists of Lake Wanaka, Lake Hāwea and Lake Wakatipu. Lastly, end our day in Queenstown for a 3 Nights stay. Lake Wakatipu DAY 8 & 9: QUEENSTOWN For today and the following day, we will explore the many sights and activities in the Queenstown region. You can choose to take a thrilling jet boat ride with Shotover Jet or cruise across the lake to enjoy a BBQ dinner at historic Walter Peak Sheep Station travelling on the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw. Perhaps, you may consider going for a day trip to Milford sound, one of the UNESCO World Heritage site as well as the Eighth Natural Wonder of the world at your own expense. Included in the tour is a ride on the Gondola to the Skyline Complex which provides wide reaching views across the Wakatipu Basin and beyond. Gondola DAY 10: QUEENSTOWN – SINGAPORE Bid goodbye to Queenstown as we return to Singapore today! Seat-in coach passengers will be transferred from their hotel to the Queenstown airport; self-drive passengers will return their rental car to the airport before departure.
