The Orange were 3-1 in non-conference play, including a season-opening shutout at Liberty. They won two of their last three games, however, a four-game losing streak in the middle of the season caused the team to just miss bowl eligibility. • Redshirt senior P Sterling Hofrichter earned All-America honors from seven diff erent media outlets and organiza ons. A 2019 Ray Guy Award fi nalist, Hofrichter ranked third in the FBS with SYRACUSE ORANGE a 43.03 net pun ng average. He was a key component for an Orange punt coverage team that 2019 Record: 5-7 set the program single-season record for fewest punt return yards allowed (17). • Six members of the Orange received All-ACC honors from the league: Hofrichter (fi rst team), S Home: 3-3, Away: 2-4, Neutral: 0-0 Andre Cisco (second team), WR Trishton Jackson (second team), PK Andre Szmyt (third team), ACC Record: 2-6 LB Lakiem Williams (third team) and DE Alton Robinson (honorable men on). ALL-AMERICANS • Syracuse's all- me leader in pun ng yardage, Hofrichter was the fi h player to earn All- America honors in Dino Babers' four years as head coach.
