In the 1977 budget, the sum of 91-2 million units of account is allocated to the financing of individual projects within the scope of Article 13 of Regulation No 17/64/EEC (1). However to this amount will be added 80 million units of account, foreseen for expenditure under Council Regulation (EEC) No 355/77 of 15 February 1977 concerning common measures to improve the conditions under which agricultural products are processed and marketed (2), which will come into application in 1978, and to which will be added the funds recovered in accordance with Article 2 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 3171/75 of 3 December 1975 (3) and, if necessary, unused funds that were allocated to other chapters of the Guidance Sec­ tion of EAGGF expenditure. The Commission, after consulting the Fund Committee on the financial aspects, particularly on the funds available, and receiving the opinion of the Standing Committee on Agricultural Structures, has chosen, for the first instalment of 1977, 334 applications representing a request for aid of 107 647 995 units of account. The projects concerned, of which a list is attached, appeared to be those most in the interests of the Community, taking account of the priorities set out in Article 15 of Regulation No 17/64/EEC. In accordance with Article 21 of Regulation No 17/64/EEC, the beneficiaries and the Member States concerned have been notified of the decisions to give grants to the projects listed herein. (!)
