Runner Up Look out! What next might fall from the sky? 7 Carole Mills Yew, yew and yew Ancient yew trees can be found in several Tandridge churchyards. The centre picture is of the Crowhurst yew in St George's church. It is alleged to be 4,000 years old. The left and right pictures are both of the Tandridge Village yew in St Peter's churchyard. It's girth is 10 metres but there is disagreement about it's age - some say it predates Saxon times, others that it's only a couple of thousand years old. Page 3 of 3.
