The Future Contemporaries Annual Party offers an opportunity to view the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2010, designed by Jean Nouvel, out of public hours and to become a member of this diverse group of individuals. The Future Contemporaries group is lead by a Committee made up of young leaders from a diverse range of professional backgrounds, including Princess Alia Al-Senussi; Alexa Enthoven, curator; Flora Fairbairn, curator; Tim Franks, Advent International; Rebecca Guinness, journalist; Liz Kabler, Annenberg Foundation; Viscount Dan Macmillan, artist; Bobby Molavi, Goldman Sachs; Jake Parkinson-Smith, Boujis; Cristina Revert, Belgrave Capital; Stan Stalnaker, Hub Culture; Christopher Taylor, Museum 52; Fred Uribe, Burberry; Marcus Waley-Cohen, Firefly; and Jonathan Wood, Weil Gotshal & Manges. The Future Contemporaries represent an outstanding audience of art enthusiasts and budding collectors. Apparatjik: Apparatjik is a collective fusing interest in science and culture, founded by Jonas Bjerre, Guy Berryman, Magne F and Martin Terefe. The project is of a tangential nature with cross-field collaborators in the worlds of music, art, fashion and the darker fringes of the scientific community. Apparatjik public performances to date have taken place inside a specially constructed cube, inspired by the Bauhaus movement and Lazlo Moholy Nagy’s work ‘ Light Space Modulator’ from 1930 in particular, debuted at the Club Transmediale festival in Berlin on 1 February 2010.
