PROPOSED ITINERARY TO: TORONTO This 9-day tour will be based in Toronto, Canada's largest city, situated in accommodation within walking distance of many of the city’s main attractions, which include the CN Tower, the Rogers Centre Stadium (formerly the Skydome) and the Eaton Centre shopping complex. Excursions to many other attractions can be arranged, such as Niagara Falls, Wonderland Theme Park or the Wild Water Kingdom. On arrival in Toronto, your coach will transfer you to your accommodation; with a 5-hour time difference you will have ample time to settle into your accommodation and your new surroundings. DAY 2 You will have a free day to explore the city and visit magnificent sights, such as the CN Tower, where you will see spectacular views of the city, as well as standing on the glass floor looking down onto the streets below. You may also wish to take a trip to the fantastic Hockey Hall of Fame, located in Toronto. Ice Hockey is a huge part of Canadian culture and this is an opportunity to find out more! In the evening (or late afternoon) you may wish to visit the Rogers Centre to watch a Baseball match (subject to fixtures) before moving onto the city’s entertainment district where you can enjoy a meal together before continuing to explore down town Toronto and its many nightspots. DAY 4 This will be a free day where you may wish to visit the impressive Harbour Front area and take a boat trip across the lake to Ontario Place, with its Water Park and other numerous attractions. Alternatively, a day trip to the impressive Wonderland Theme Park or the Wild Water Kingdom can be arranged. You may wish to consider visiting BMO field, the home of the MLS team Toronto FC where you may be able to take in a fixture during your tour, (subject to travel dates and fixtures). Polson Pier offers a heated outdoor pool, beach volleyball, a golf range, table tennis, 5-a-side soccer, a climbing wall and a host of other outdoor activities and rides, including Cabana, an indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant. They are all housed in a unique setting overlooking Lake Ontario, giving you spectacular views of the cities skyline. Telephone: 01453 755733 E-Mail: [email protected] Website: www.burleightravel.co.uk DAY 6 This will be a free day until you travel to your second fixture: 15.00 Hours - V North York Astros Once you have spent time with your hosts you will return to your accommodation from where you can continue to enjoy all that Toronto has to offer after dark, where venues such as Hooters, The Steam whistle Brewery and Biergärten; (brewery tours are also possible) and Crocodile Rock are popular with touring teams. DAY 7 After breakfast you will have a free day where you may wish to arrange a trip to Niagara (1 hour 20 mins). Here there is a vast range of activities available, including the Niagara Falls area where you can enjoy a trip on the 'Maid in the Mist'. You will have the opportunity of a full days sightseeing in Niagara to include other attractions such as the Skylon Tower, Imax Theatre and the Journey Behind the Falls. Other attractions in Niagara that you may also wish to visit include Marineland and the Clifton Hills area which hosts a variety of entertainments and attractions including the Guinness World Records Museum, Ghost Blaster Ride, Dinosaur Park Miniature Golf and the Niagara Skywheel (Niagara’s version of the London Eye). You could also enjoy an exhilarating zip wire ride over the falls where you will ride the ‘Mist Rider Zipline’; a 2,200-foot zipwire to the Falls or enjoy a trip on the Whirlpool Jet, where you will speed across Lake Niagara to experience a journey of breath- taking white water scenery. DAY 8/9 You will have the majority of the day free for final sightseeing where a visit to the nearby Eaton Centre is recommended. You will then travel to the airport for your evening flight, arriving into the UK the following day.
