Minutes of previous Annual General Meeting 2015 That the minutes of the Annual General Meeting 2015 held February 15th 2016 are true and correct. Moved: Leongatha Second: Morwell Carried 4. Annual reports Chairman and AFL RAC reports are in the Annual Report provided to clubs. 5. Financial Report Greg reported on financials for 2016. The league again returned a profit of over $90,000 for the second straight year under AFL Gippsland. Made it clear that it was conservative budget that was set from Russell at the AGM in 2016. Over the finals series we were up around 7%. $22k increase in sponsorship. As of today we have $194k in the bank with another $45k owed. Clubs will be receiving something back for 2017 season decision to be made on how much and what the process will be. 4 2017 TRFM Gippsland League Annual Report AGM MINUTES 2016 Clubs rebate will be looked at after budget is finalised. Board working towards February timeline Around the next SGM. Clubs have been encouraged to send back any feedback re club rebates. Moved: Drouin Second: Warragul Carried 6. Election of Board Members Advertised in the record. Had two applicants and were interviewed by Greg, Graeme and Karen. One was successful but pulled out from work conditions. Rebecca Burgmann, Russell Smith and Michelle Redfern have all not seeked re-election. Maffra asked re the advisory committee setup for West Gippsland Committee of management. AFL Gippsland Chair Brian Quigley, stated that the setup is of local people who have got club backgrounds. Clubs requested an email to be sent to with board nominations and position description. Other Business Admission prices Clubs discussed the prices- An option was thrown up for $12 included a record. Moved: Morwell Second: Drouin A second motion to keep the prices as they were in 2016.
