It contains public messages and statements, verbatim transcripts of the President’s news con­ ferences, and other selected papers released by the White House during 1967. Included in the volume are the President’s annual message to Congress on the State of the Union; special messages on consumer protection, education and health, and crime control; items relating to the President’s meeting with Soviet Premier Kosygin at Glassboro, N.J., meetings with Vietnam leaders in Guam, and the Latin American summit conference at Punta del Este, Uruguay; and speeches made by the President while on his 5-day round-the-world tour. The 1228-page volume, fully indexed, consists of two clothbound books. Book I covers the period from January 1 through June 30, 1967, and sells for $8.75; Book II covers the period from July 1 through December 31, 1967, and sells for $8.00.
