The Haji Ali Shrine - Located on a small island on the Arabian Sea with only a narrow path leading to it giving it an ethereal look. It is set 500 yards into the sea and can be reached only in low tide. The Haji Ali Mausoleum has an offshore location, during high tide the connecting causeway is submerged in water giving the impression that the mosque and tomb are floating out at sea in splendid isolation. Inside the shrine there is a courtyard which normally sports a festive, talkative atmosphere. This is The Haji Ali Dargah, the floating tomb of a wealthy Mohammedan merchant who renounced his worldly ways before embarking on a pilgrimage to Mecca. Hazarat Makhdoom Ali Mahimi Shah (1372-1431) was a Sufi saint from India, widely acknowledged for his scholarly treatise, liberal views and humanist ideals. Mahimi was born into a family of Arab travelers who had settled down on the island of Mahim, one of the seven islands that later formed the city of Bombay (now Mumbai). Hazrat Khawaja Nizamuddin Auliya – RA (1238 - 1325 AD) also known as Hazrat Nizamuddin, was a famous Sufi saint of the Chishti Order in India. He was born in Badayun (east of Delhi), though he later settled in Delhi, where his shrine (Nizamuddin Dargah) is still located. His original name was Mohammed. He was the son of Ahmad Dainiyal, who came to Badayun from Ghazani in the year 1234-35. At the age of 20, Nizamuddin went to Ajodhan (the present Pak Pattan in Pakistan) and became the disciple of Fariduddin Ganj-i-Shakkar. He was also the spiritual master of Amir Khusro. He died in the forenoon of 3rd April 1325. It is visited daily by many of people of all religions. The tomb of Amir Khusro is also located within the Nizamuddin Dargah Complex. The Dargah of Hazrat Inayat:-In 1926, Hazrat Inayat Khan returned to India, the country of his birth. After a brief illness, he passed away in Delhi on February 5th, 1927. According to his wishes, his body was laid to rest on a small piece of property not far from the grave of the Sufi saint Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia. The Dargah [tomb] of Hazrat Inayat is now a place of peace, prayer and meditation in the midst of the crowded city to which pilgrims come from around the world. It is also a centre for music concerts, lectures, conferences, and social programs helping the people of the surrounding district. Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki was a renowned Muslim Sufi mystic, saint and scholar in the Chishti Order from Delhi, India. He was the disciple and khalifa (spiritual successor) of Moinuddin Chishti as head of the Chishti Order. His most famous disciple and spiritual successor was Baba Fareed. He Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki was born in 569 A.H. (1173 C.E.) in a town called "Aush" or Awash in Mawar-un-Nahar (Transoxania). Khwaja Qutbuddin's original name was "Bakhtiyar" but his title was "Qutbuddin". The name "Kaki" to his name was attributed to him by virtue of a miracle that emanated from him at a later stage of his life in Delhi. He also belonged to the direct lineage of the Holy Muhammad, descending from [[Husayn ibn Ali|Hussain Bin Ali). Khawaja Bakhtiyar Khaki was one and half years old when his father died. His mother arranged for him very good education and training. Hazrat Nasir-ud-Din Mahmud Chirag (RA) - The main tomb of the devout saint is a square chamber supported on twelve pillars and surmounted by a dome with turrets on every corner. It is the burial place and tomb of Sufi saint Nasir-ud-Din Mahmud (RA). Entitled Raushan Chiragh-i-Dihli, which means the 'Illuminated lamp of Delhi', the saint died in the year 1356. He was a disciple of Hazrat Nizamuddin, whom he succeeded as the head of the Chisti sect. The village of Chirag Delhi, now an urban settlement gradually grew up around this sacred tomb and was earlier enclosed within rubble-built rectangular walls with gateways on each side, built by Muhammad Bin Tughlaq (1325-51). JUMMAH IN KALYAR SHAREEF Piran Kaliyaar Sheriff (Dargah of Hazrat Makhdum Sayyed Allauddin Ali Ahmed - Sabir) - The famous Dargah Kaliyar Sharif is now in existence for about 800 years. The arrival of Khwaja Makhdoom Alauddin Ahmed Sabir Pak popularly known as “Baba Sabir” at Kaliyar unfolds some interesting episodes of his life. It is said that after his father’s death, Sabir’s mother Hazrat-e-Hazra brought him to Pakpattan in 1204 A D where her brother Baba Farid lived. Eleven-year-old Sabir could make unusual predictions. The tomb of this Dargah was made by Ibrahim Lodhi. It is situated towards the south of Haridwar. This place is one of the living examples of unity. Famed for its mystical powers that fulfill the desires of the devout, the Dargah is visited by millions of devotees from all religions from India and abroad. The Urs is celebrated at this Dargah every year, from the first day of sighting the moon to the sixteenth day during the Rabeeull month of the Islamic calendar. Have Langar and listen to Qawali. Morning leave for Panipath by surface to visit Bu-Ali-Shah Qalandar is one of the most renowed Sufi saints in history. He was born in early 1400 in Panipat, India. After the Ibadat of 36 years by standing in the water in Karnal he achieved the status of "Bu-Ali-Shah Qalandar". The Prophet Mohammed blessed him with the fragrance Bu Ali. After achieving this Rutba, many Sufi saints came to see Bu-Ali-Shah Qalandar. After many years of devotion and service Bu-Ali-Shah Qalandar is said to have disappeared into the sky in front of all his devotees. Now there is the Durbar of Bu-Ali-Shah Qalandar Sahib in Panipat, which is very well known as the Qalandari Gate.
