The landmarks Bringing History To Life on the Trail reflect Bidford’s history from Roman times to the present. However, stone tools discovered by the River Avon are evidence of a settlement dating as Great-square-headed brooch, dating to far back as the Paleolithic period (early Stone Age) the early Anglo-Saxon period.
