2014-15 Special Agreement Register: Southern Water Services Ltd 2014-15 Special Agreement Register: Southern Water Services Ltd Special Agreement Information Potable Water There are no special agreements for potable water supplies. Non-potable Water SRNNONPOT1 Initially agreed in 1963 but has been renewed on several occasions, the latest in April 2013 for a period of 3 years. The agreement is for the supply of non-potable water up to a maximum of 10Ml/day. The tariff comprises a reservation charge, a volumetric charge and a standing charge. SRNNONPOT2 This is a long-standing agreement for the supply of raw water from a surface reservoir. The start date and the reason for the agreement are unknown. With effect from January 2011, the volumetric charge was aligned to the volumetric charge for supplies to South East Water from Darwell. The charge is indexed to November RPI. Sewerage There are no special agreements for sewerage services. Trade Effluent There are no special agreements for trade effluent services. Page 1of 3 2014-15 Special Agreement Register: Southern Water Services Ltd Bulk Supply Information Exports of Water SRNBWE1 This supply is to South East Water. It was agreed prior to privatisation (1960’s) and is to run for an unlimited period. The charge levied is proportional to running costs. SRNBWE2 This supply is to South East Water. It was agreed prior to privatisation and is to run for an unlimited period. Main supply is charged at Southern Water’s standard volumetric rate; other supplies charged at historic special agreement rates. SRNBWE3 This supply is to Wessex Water for an unlimited period. Standard Southern Water large user tariff applies. SRNBWE4 This supply is to South East Water and is part of the Belmont scheme. It was agreed before privatisation and is to run until 2023. Price is proportional to running costs. SRNBWE5 This supply of potable water to Affinity Water (formerly Veolia Water South East) commenced in 2003-04 and is for an initial period of 10 years. Supply is charged at a fixed unit rate with a zero standing charge. A new agreement is currently being put in place. SRNBWE6 This supply is to South East Water and is part of the River Medway scheme. It was agreed before privatisation and is to run for an unlimited period. Price is proportional to running costs. Page 2of 3 2014-15 Special Agreement Register: Southern Water Services Ltd SRNBWE7 This is an infrequent supply to South East Water and is charged at standard rates. SRNBWE8 This bulk supply of raw water is to South East Water and is part of the Bewl- Darwell transfer scheme. The final terms were agreed in June 2006 and the agreement is to run for 20 years. The agreement provides for the recovery of capital costs of the transfer scheme via a fixed charge plus a volumetric rate. SRNBWE9 This is an infrequent supply to South East Water and is charged at 75% of standard rates. SRNBWE10 This supply is to SSE Water. It was agreed in March 2013 and will be available for an unlimited period. Standard Southern Water large user tariff applies. Sewerage services supplied SRNBSSS1, SRNBSSS2, SRNBSSS3 and SRNBSSS4 These services are all provided to SSE Water and will be available for an unlimited period.
