After that, open it by clicking the gear symbol. The wizard consists of 6-8 steps. SELECT DATA 3 Here you can enter the cells (ranges) of the needed values or paste the selections. Example: First select the data values and click "Paste Selection": Then select the countries / states and click "Paste Selection": Note: For Countries enter the correct country name or the iso country code - ISO 3166-2 or ISO 3166-3. For US States insert the correct state name, the FIPS Code or the state alpha code - FIPS Code. The US map show the contiguous United States. For the states of other countries insert the correct state name. 4 CAPTIONS You can specify a chart name, description, the color and the font. 5 CHART I Here you can specify the width and height. Also you can define whether to show the tooltip. If selected you can define the tooltip font and whether the tooltip is transparent. 6 CHART II You can choose the map - world, one of six continents or one of eleven states or one of two EU maps. Also you can define whether to show bubbles and cities. Furthermore you can define the distance of the legend from the chart and specify whether to display a search field for the countries respectively states. Finally you can specify the projection of the map, the color scheme, scale and the legend position. Note: When scaling to "Kilo" or to "Million" you can choose to add an additional String by activate "Change Description". Example: Description is "Revenues" ->"Revenues (in Million)". 7 EXPORT TO SVG 1. To export the generated map you must click on the export symbol - the map content is now in the clipboard: 2. Open the link: https://chartssymphony.com/SVGCreator/CreateSVGMap.php 3. Enter the name of the file to be created and paste the content of the clipboard in the other input field. 4. Click the "Create"-button. Alternative: For Mac you can download the app "SVG for Charts Symphony": 1. See step 1 above. 2. Open the app an click on the "Create SVG"-button 3.
