District of Columbia . .54 4 THE HCASC STORY In 1989, Honda and the College Bowl Company teamed up to create Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (HCASC). The birth of HCASC marked the creation of varsity scholar teams and official academic competitions at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The goal is to support the unique mission of America’s HBCUs and to emphasize the belief that knowledge is our most valuable resource. Knowledge enriches us BY THE personally and opens our eyes, minds and hearts to the possibilities the world NUMBERS presents. It reinforces the ideal behind Honda’s motto, The Power of Dreams. 125,000 Honda’s commitment to HCASC expresses its belief that success isn’t measured Students have competed in HCASC solely by the products we make, but also by the lives enhanced. 10,000 HCASC is not just an entertaining game of outstanding intellect and quick Questions are asked each year recall.
