In this goal-oriented competition, the airport competed based on Turn Time Performance, or when an aircraft arrives late but is “turned” and departs on time, in On Time Departure Performance, or keeping departures on schedule and in Missed Bag Goals, making sure bags arrive with their passengers. “While the prize is yet to be announced, bragging rights are enough of a reward,” stated commercial services manager, Sharon Morris. “We went into this with determination to better serve our passengers, but it’s such an honor to know that we finished first in August. It was a great team effort. ” This summer, the Branson Airport team was consistently ranked high in the above AirTran Airway’s categories.
