The Spinaway was also her first career win, after finishing second in her debut, a maiden special weight at Parx Racing. Her most recent start came in the Frizette Stakes (G1) Oct. 10 at Belmont Park, where she finished second. • Won a Breeders’ Cup race in his first attempt when Afleet Again upset the 2011 Marathon (G1) at odds of 41-1 for owner Kasey K Racing Stable. Afleet Again had lost his last 13 starts prior to the Marathon. • A year later, Reid sent Poseidon’s Warrior to the Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) at Santa Anita Park on behalf of Swilcan Stable, where the horse finished 14th. Two starts prior to the Breeders’ Cup, the son of Speightstown earned Reid his first Grade 1 victory as a trainer when he took the Alfred G.
