Some trains will be rerouted to other crowded areas in the system. After 8 am every other train from the Warm Springs to Daly City line will not go to San Francisco and instead go to Downtown Oakland to serve the parade route. These trains will terminate at MacArthur Station. The Lake Merritt Station permit parking lot (located near Laney College) will be closed all day. -- 4 -- Public Transit AC Transit AC Transit buses will be rerouted around downtown Oakland for most of the day due to street closures in the parade and rally area. As road closures begin to affect bus service, AC Transit ambassadors will be deployed throughout downtown Oakland and Lake Merritt. Detours of these bus lines will occur in three phases and begin the night before the parade. Downtown Oakland riders requiring transportation to the Castro Temporary Transit Center should look for the green Broadway Shuttle Buses. This service is free and will transport riders from the Castro Street Temporary Transit Center along 14th Street, Clay Street and 12th Street. The Shuttle will serve the stop at 12th and Clay Streets.
