The Village Link magazine is published three times a year and distributed free of charge to all households in the Winterbournes and Hurdcott. In order to keep the cost down, the magazine is printed in black and white. However, we have more flexibility with our website so all material submitted for the summer edition with colour (generally photographs, posters and advertisements) will appear on the Parish Council website in colour (please see: http://www.winterbourneparishcouncil.com/facilities/winterbournes-village-link.php). Community resilience and crime prevention is one of the Parish Council “portfolio tasks”. With budgets for Wiltshire Council and other county services, including the police, under pressure we increasingly have to do more to help ourselves, our neighbours and the emergency services.
