SHUL NOTICES REFLECTIVE SAFETY BELTS: In light of recent tragic events, the Orthodox Union has provided reflective safety belts to shuls at no cost. ECDP has been able to obtain these belts for members to borrow, as needed, for example, when walking home from Shul Motzei Shabbat. They will be located in a bin in the closet on the Sprague side entrance. We ask that you please return them at your earliest convenience so that the next member in need can make use of them. Thank you. SECURITY: The Shul has arranged for armed security on Shabbat & Yom Tov mornings. The guards are all either off- duty or retired law enforcement. Please do not distract them as they are here to focus on our safety. SHUL DIRECTORY: The Shul’s membership directory is available. Note new hours in effect: Saturday nights: 8:30 pm-11:00 pm; Sunday-Thursday nights: 8:00 pm-11:00 pm. The website for the Mikveh is www.mancwh.org MANC - KEILIM MIKVAH: Keilim mikvah hours are 9 am - 5 pm. SHUL REMINDERS: Please do not bring any Strollers into the Shul. Strollers must remain outside all buildings. Please do not bring food into the new sanctuary. Please remember to make sure the lights are off and the doors are locked when you are the last or next to last person to leave the Shul. Thank you for your cooperation. MEMO FROM THE WELCOMING COMMITTEE: The Welcoming Committee welcomes new families to West Hempstead. Additionally, they arrange a Friday night dinner to be delivered to new families for their first Shabbat. We are looking for more volunteers that would be interested in offering to bring Shabbat food for a new family when they move in.
