Our participation from “T” members continues to grow, and upcoming events are sure to be even better. We are excited about our move to the WAC and the opportunities that lie ahead for Texas State and the “T” Association. “T” Association President Kyle Harrell and family A special thanks to Clint and Stacey Bendele, Aaron Bolado, Bill Wyman, Brad Schley, David Williams, and many others who helped out with and attended the “T” Association tailgates this fall. Aubrey Horner Aubrey Horner was a four year letter winner at Texas State as a point guard for Men’s basketball from 1952-1956 and lettered one year as a member of the tennis team during the 1956 season. Claude Mathis Claude Mathis was a four year letter winner at Texas State as a starting running back for the Bobcat football team from 1994- 1997. Mathis was the Southland Conference All-Time Leading Rusher. Reese passed away peacefully, on Dec. 31, 2011 at his Encinal ranch. Emory Bellard attended Texas State University and graduated 1949. After his graduation, Bellard went on to have a very successful career coaching football at high schools and He was born on Oct. 31, 1942, in Freer. He was universities including University of Texas, Texas A&M University, and Mississippi State. a lifelong football coach who began his career in He introduced the wishbone formation to college football, providing the framework for Robstown.
