Coinbase customers can now buy, sell, convert, send, receive, or store AAVE, BNT, and SNX. AAVE, BNT, and SNX are available in all Coinbase-supported regions, with the exception of New York State. Depositors provide liquidity to the market to earn a passive income, while borrowers are able to borrow cryptocurrencies in exchange for paying a variable interest rate. Bancor (BNT) Bancor (BNT) is an Ethereum token that powers the Bancor protocol. The protocol describes itself as “a fully on-chain liquidity protocol that can be implemented on any smart contract-enabled blockchain.” Synthetix (SNX) Synthetix (SNX) is an Ethereum token that powers Synthetix, a decentralised synthetic asset issuance protocol. Synthetic assets are minted when token holders stake their SNX as collateral using Mintr, a decentralised application for interacting with the Synthetix contracts. The protocol currently supports synthetic fiat currencies, cryptocurrencies, and commodities. One of the most common requests we hear from customers is to be able to buy and sell more cryptocurrencies on Coinbase. We announced a process for listing assets, designed in part to accelerate the addition of more cryptocurrencies.
