This song is to spark conversations about racial bias between adults and children - be brave and truthful, share your truths about culture and history. This is meant to be a shared conversation - “we need you” is a calling for the audience to join the conversation, and to then share the messages. We write for the young people who need to know that it is the world - not them - that is making it unfair. .
