The Saturday market, is a must for food lovers with specialty items such as foie gras, the famous cepe mushrooms, truffles, cheese, walnuts and walnut oil. Day 10 – Sunday, September 30 Sarlat- Padirac – Rocamadour - Sarlat B/D Depart on an excursion to visit Gouffre de Padirac, a cave with an underground river, a gorge and a huge cavern. Here we will see prehistoric cave drawings! Later we will visit the small, clifftop me- dieval vertical village of Rocamadour overlooking Anzou Canyon before returning to Sarlat. Day 11 – Monday, October 1 Sarlat to Saint-Emilion and Bordeaux B This morning we depart on our final leg of the journey then stop along the way. The tour would not be complete without a day in the in heart of the Saint-Emilion wine region where we will enjoy yet another opportunity to visit a vineyard with wine tasting be- fore we continue to Bordeaux. Overnight Bordeaux - 2 nights Day 12 – Tuesday, October 2 Bordeaux B/D Today is a leisure day to explore as you wish – see the sites, do some last minute shopping or simply sit in a café sipping on your favourite beverage. The day is yours to spend as you wish! This evening gather for a farewell dinner and reminisce with fellow travellers about the memories you have shared along the way. Day 13 – Wednesday, October 3 Departure B Say farewell to France with a morning group transfer to the air- port for our return flight home Broad Escapes will have a designated group flight from Bordeaux to Toronto. The coach transfer will be based on the designated group flight departure time. Arrangements can be made at an additional cost for those departing at a different time/date.
