Artspeak won his New Jersey Sires Stakes final with au- thority for Ontario native Scott Zeron. “He did it all on his own,” said Zeron of the colt’s three-length victory in 1:48.4. Two notable undefeated sophomore males this season, the six-for-six Rise Up Now and the three-for-three Lost For Words— both trained by Brian Brown—are racing in Pennsylvania Sires Stakes at The Meadows this weekend since they are not eligible to the Somebeachsomewhere or the North America Cup. The nine-for-nine Wiggle It Jiggleit, an unexpected sensa- tion this season, won in Indiana Sires Stakes action on May 30 and is also getting a week off. He turned in a 1:49.3 win in a $75,000 Sires Stakes final on May 30, splashing his way to victory over the track that had suffered from heavy rain. With Wiggle It Jiggleit drawing post seven and the formi- dable Freaky Feet Pete to the outside in post nine, getting the right trip was key to keeping “Wiggle It’s” winning streak intact. When the wings of the gate folded, Montrell Teague had a clear path to the front and easily placed Wiggle It Jig- gleit on the lead while Freaky Feet Pete never saw the rail.
