This database is powered by Neo4j, a graph database that structures data in nodes (the icons you see in the visualization) and relationships (the links between nodes). To make this data easily accessible to everyone, regardless of the technical resources at their disposal, we have converted our original database into several CSV files, one per type of node and one for all the relationships. You may download an archive of all these files here. Please bear in mind that the archive is large, so if you know how to use BitTorrent, we encourage you to use it with our official torrent file. You'd be saving ICIJ some money. On May 9, 2016 at 8pm EDT, ICIJ incorporated to the database data from the Panama Papers investigation. That version of the database --and the download version-- included address connections that were incorrect. This error was fixed on May 10 at 11pm EDT. On September 21, 2016 at 2pm EDT the downloadable files were significantly updated, after incorporating the Bahamas Leaks records. We recommend you read this section about the latest updates to the data. We have also made a distribution of Neo4j available with the data in it. This will allow you to query the database to fully explore from your computer the connections between people and companies. The package also includes a guide that explains how to use Neo4j. You can download a Windows version (torrent file) and a Mac version (torrent file). The process to launch the packages is pretty straight forward, however we encourage you to follow the instructions in the readme. You’ll be able to explore the ICIJ Offshore Leaks data without having to install Neo4j separately.
