LEGAL SERVICES BOARD – DIRECTOR, ACCESS TO JUSTICE (Iqaluit or Cambridge Bay or Rankin Inlet) The Access to Justice Director of the Legal Services Board of Nunavut is accountable for developing and delivering high quality professional services, effective and efficient resource management, and programs and services relating to legal aid’s Access to Justice Mandate. The Access to Justice Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Inuit Court Worker program and is the key liaison with communities, justice stakeholders, legal aid clinics and management of the Legal Services Board on issues relative to enhancing access to justice in Nunavut. The position acts as the principal advisor on territorial access to justice matters to senior management of the Legal Services Board. To perform this role, your experience includes a number of years in progressive management positions in a related field with particular focus on capacity development and networking. Some travel will be required. Salary for this position is currently under review and is supplemented with a compensation package that includes a Northern Living Allowance, housing subsidy, RRSP contribution, health care coverage, professional development opportunities, and vacation travel assistance.
