As always, we’ve done a lot of research into the incumbents, candidates and their respective platforms and if applicable, their past voting records,” explains LSCU President Jared Ross. “We have all learned a lot from the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the lessons is how important our federal lawmakers are. Before presenting these endorsements for approval by the LSCU Board of Directors, our research was meticulous. LSCU and the board supports these men and women from both parties.” The list of endorsements is as follows: Jerry Carl (R) Alabama's 1st Congressional District Jeff Coleman (R) Alabama's 2nd Congressional District Rep. Mike Rogers (R) Alabama's 3rd Congressional District Rep. Gary Palmer (R) Alabama's 6th Congressional District Rep. Al Lawson (D) Florida's 5th Congressional District Rep. Bill Posey (R) Florida's 8th Congressional District Rep. Darren Soto (D) Florida's 9th Congressional District Rep. Val Demings (D) Florida's 10th Congressional District Rep.
