Almost a mile of it for you and your family and friends to enjoy at Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park in Long Branch. In addition to the oceanfront beach, and protected swimming areas in the summer, Seven Presidents also provides “Tony’s Place,” a playground for children of all abilities, a skateplex and in-line skating rink. Park Rangers and volunteers also work to protect nesting areas on the beach and along the dunes for the Least Tern and Piping Plover. The park is open year-round and provides an excellent site for surf fishing, bird watching or just walking on the beach and enjoying the ocean breeze. Also, be sure to check the current Park System Directory for a listing of activities and programs held throughout the year. Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park can be reached from State Route 36 (Ocean Avenue). The Park entrance is located at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Joline Avenue in Long Branch. I want to encourage you to get out and enjoy your parks. A visit can be a great stress reliever. Volunteering with the Park System can also be a very rewarding experience and an opportunity to socialize and enjoy the outdoors. Should you wish to learn more about your Park System and volunteer opportunities, please contact us at (732) 842-4000, ext. 4238, or on our website at www.monmouthcountyparks.com. Sincerely, James J.
