The Sharks have shown improvement over the past month and have claimed three draws from their past three matches. The signing of former Sydney FC and Brisbane Roar A-League striker Charles Lokolingoy has given new life to the Sutherland attack which was on display as he helped them snatch a late draw last week. Lokolingoy will join forces with Marc Warren to provide the Sharks a formidable spine and hopefully improve their performances moving forward. They face an almighty task against Rockdale City Suns in Round 11. The Suns are on an incredible five game winning streak which has catapulted them to second on the ladder after last week’s win against league leaders Wollongong. It was the former Sydney FC ace’s debut match in Sharks colours after only joining the club this week and what a maiden performance it was. The match was a story of missed opportunities for the home side but Lokolingoy’s strike helped the NPL NSW cellar dwellers to a vital point. For Sydney FC, it was almost the perfect game plan. Substitute Hamish Lamberton nodded home a goal to get them ahead in the 82nd minute but they weren’t able to hold on for the three points, leaving them enough to work for for next week. Wollongong Wolves 0 – Rockdale City Suns 1 at WIN Stadium A long-range strike from Alec Urosevski has helped Rockdale City Suns snap Wollongong Wolves incredible nine game undefeated streak with a 1-0 win at WIN Stadium on Saturday. It was league leader Wollongong’s first defeat of the season and the first match they were unable to find the back of the net. Urosevski’s 31st minute strike was the only goal of the encounter, with the visitors holding off a strong Wolves attack in the second half to secure their fifth league win in a row since interim boss Nick Porecca took over the side. The result catapults Rockdale into second on the ladder and cuts Wollongong’s lead over the chasing pack down to two points. 6 #NPLNSW TEAM OF THE WEEK 01: LARGE USE: OVER 150MM WIDE This logo has a smaller ‘®’ symbol FOOTBALL NSW WOULD LIKE TO THANK THEIR SPONSORS FOR THEIR CONTINUED SUPPORT 02: SMALL USE: 55MM - 150MM WIDE This logo has a larger ‘®’ symbol NPLNSW.COM.AU 7 SPONSORS 8 #NPLNSW TOP GOAL SCORERS NAME & CLUB GOALS SCORED Thomas James (Wollongong Wolves) 12 Chris Payne (APIA Leichhardt Tigers) 11 Mirjan Pavlovic (Marconi Stallions) 8 Alejandro Sanchez (Sydney Olympic) 7 Marko Jesic (Marconi Stallions) 6 Brendan Cholakian (Manly United) 6 Peter Simonoski (Sydney United 58) 6 Jordan Swibel (Sydney FC) 5 THOMAS JAMES WOLLONGONG WOLVES Jeremy Cox (Sutherland Sharks) 5 PHOTO GALLERY NPLNSW.COM.AU 9 NPL NSW YOUTH TEAM LISTS UNDER 13’S UNDER 14’S 49 Jamie McDonough GK 33 Finn Fristaad 50 Samuel Smith 44 Jordan McAllister 51 Antonio Kalabric 48 Zacharie McKelvie 52 Brandan Darke 45 Marcus Koukoutaris 53 Cameron Munro 42 Joel Cubitt 54 Christian Vujic 39 Jackson Barter 55 Hugo Mezei 37 Cooper Kerridge 56 Jack Pereira 40 Jaden Gasking 57 Jacob McLachlan 38 Gian Zinnato 58 Christian Marko 35 Benjamin Caroutas 59 Lachlan Maher 41 James Ciot 60 Lucas Trajcevski 34 Ben Nanai 62 Noah Ovens 36 Christian Radman 63 Sebastian Dobre 43 Jonathan Vakauta 64 Thomas O’Brien 46 Riley Fowler 47 Ryley Hollingdale UNDER 15’S UNDER 16’S GK 33 Ryan James GK 1 Zac Smith GK 17 Beau Ward 13 Nicholas Karavatakis 19 Arthur Kyriakides 5 Dylan Monoz 22 George Mavridis 11 Luke Dearsley 25 John Fotopoulos 15 Ryan Doig 26 Kaidyn Wright 9 Josh Field 31 Trelawney Brown 12 Nelson Lam 27 Kynan Moffit 3 Alexander Kilazoglou 20 Brohden Souris 8 Jordan Kizi 28 Lachlan Macdonald 2 Adam Castle 30 Michael Kokoviadis 6 Evan Souris 29 Lucas Kotevski 16 Taylan Skurtevski 21 Dylan Petitcuenot 7 Jarvis Paterson 23 Jacob Tresoglavic 10 Julian Trovato 47 Jesse Photi 4 Dean Borbilas 48 Tye McGowan 14 Rocco Mellino NPLNSW.COM.AU 11 U13 - NPL NSW YOUTH POS TEAM P W D L F A GD PTS 1 Central Coast Mariners FC 10 10 0 0 27 7 20 30 2 Western Sydney Wanderers FC 10 9 1 0 37 10 27 28 3 Sydney Olympic FC 8 8 0 0 26 6 20 24 4 Sutherland Sharks FC 10 8 0 2 25 9 16 24 5 Manly United FC 10 6 3 1 13 7 6 21 6 Canterbury Bankstown FC 9 6 0 3 29 16 13 18 7 Sydney FC 9 5 2 2 17 7 10 17 8 Rockdale City Suns FC 9 4 4 1 16 8 8 16 9 Hills United FC 10 5 1 4 19 19 0 16 10 Blacktown City FC 10 4 3 3 20 15 5 15 11 APIA Leichhardt Tigers FC 10 4 2 4 11 8 3 14 12 Mounties Wanderers FC 10 4 1 5 17 22 -5 13 13 St George FC 10 4 1 5 15 20 -5 13 14 Sydney United 58 FC 10 3 3 4 16 14 2 12 15 Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC 8 4 0 4 10 12 -2 12 16 Marconi Stallions FC 9 3 2 4 14 15 -1 11 17 St George City FA 10 3 1 6 16 18 -2 10 18 Wollongong Wolves FC 10 3 1 6 15 21 -6 10 19 GHFA Spirit FC 10 3 1 6 14 20 -6 10 20 North Shore Mariners FC 10 2 3 5 11 21 -10 9 21 Hakoah Sydney City East FC 10 2 2 6 9 12 -3 8 22 Northern Tigers FC 10 2 2 6 9 29 -20 8 23 Blacktown Spartans FC 10 1 3 6 16 22 -6 6 24 Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC 9 1 3 5 6 16 -10 6 25 Macarthur Rams FC 10 0 3 7 12 28 -16 3 26 Rydalmere Lions FC 9 0 0 9 1 39 -38 0 12 #NPLNSW U14 - NPL NSW YOUTH POS TEAM P W D L F A GD PTS 1 Western Sydney Wanderers FC 10 10 0 0 54 2 52 30 2 Sutherland
