A native of Sidney, Nova Scotia, MacCormack attended St. Lawrence University in Canton where he was captain and MVP of both the soccer and hockey squads. He set school scoring record in soccer, while in hockey his Saints TRY OUR DRAGON SPECIAL teammates included two current NHL coaches: Mike (Pizza with the works) Keenan of the Philadelphia Flyers and Jacques Martin of SUBS — SALADS the St. Louis Blues. From 1975 to 1980, his Bomber soccer units went Tompkins Street across from P. E.R. 38-43-4 and participated in two NCAA tournaments. Named the New York State Soccer Coach of the Year in 1980, MacCormack earned a master's degree in physical education at Ithaca. A communication major, Jon is currently completing his undergraduate studies while taking a few graduate courses.
