Pat Tatham Athlete BIOGRAPHY International Highlights • 1969-76: Pat Tatham had an impressive international career with the Canadian National Women's Basketball Team, the Women's Basketball Association and as a member of local Hamilton teams. • While playing with the National Team, Pat was the Team Captain and was named MVP four times. • 1969: Mexico/Cuba Tour and the European Summer Tour. • 1970: The European Summer Tour • 1971: The European Summer Tour, the Women's World Basketball Championships in Sao Paulo, Brazil and the Pan American Games, Cali, Columbia. • 1972: The China Tour and the European Summer Tour. • 1973: European Summer Tour. • 1974: Canada Cross Country Tour with China and the European Tour. • 1975: Pan American Games, Mexico City, the South America Tour, the European Tour and the Women's World Basketball Championships, Cali, California. • 1976: Selected for the Canadian Olympic Women's Basketball Team. • From 1964-76: Prior to making the National Team, Pat started her international career in the Women's Basketball Association. • 1964: WBA International Tournament, Philadelphia, as a member of the Hamilton Kittens who won Silver. • 1973: WBA International Tournament, Indianapolis, where her team won Gold as the Tournament Championships and Pat was selected for the All Star Team. • 1974: WBA International Invitational Tournament, Omaha, winning Bronze and nominated as an All Star. • 1985: WBA World Master's Tournament, Toronto, where her team won Gold and made the All Star Team. National Highlights • 1962: With the Hamilton Electras, Pat led her team to Gold in the Juvenile Division of the Canadian Amateur Basketball Association (CABA) National Championships. • 1967: First Canada Winter Games with Team Ontario winning Silver at Quebec City. • 1968: Canadian Junior Women's Basketball Championships in Red Deer and selected for the All Star Team. • 1969: Canadian Junior Women's Basketball Championships, in Saskatoon. winning Gold and selected to the All Star Team. • 1971: Canadian Senior A Women's Basketball Finalists in Hamilton, ON, winning Gold and selected as an All Star • 1971: Second Canada Winter Games with Team Ontario, winning Gold in Saskatoon, SK and selected as an All Star • 1973: Canadian Senior A Women's Basketball Champions and selected MVP while winning Gold in Edmonton, AB. Provincial Highlights • 1960-69, 1971, 1972, 1975 & 1978: For 14 out of 18 years, Pat was a member of the team that won the Ontario Ladies Basketball Association Championships in the Midget, Juvenile and Junior divisions. • 1967: Pat received the Ontario Centennial Medallion of Excellence in Women's Basketball and was named Outstanding Hamilton Female Basketball Player. • 1968-69: Pat was a member of the Brock University Badgers. • 1969, 1970, 1971 & 1973: Received the Province of Ontario's Achievement Award for Amateur Sports. • 1970: Pat played in the Ontario Winter Games, Etobicoke.
