Was appointed Prebendary of St. David's, after which, became Vicar of .Bishopstborpe, Arch­ deacon of York, and Canon residentiary of the Cathedral. Was consecrated ll9tb Bishop of St. David's in 1874; is Patron of the Deanery and Canonries, 4 Archdeaconries, together with 132livings. Married, in 1856, Frances Charlotte, daughter of the late Rev.
