C » Team Captains OFFENSE SUPERLATIVE START WR 5 Michael Bandy » C - Led by Sinnett under center, the Toreros enter this week 10th in the FCS in passing offense (327.5 yards per game) and 14th 9 Michael Carner in team passing efficiency (158.08). Last year, USD was first in the nation in passing efficiency (170.87) and second in passing LT 63 Aidan Valencia offense (349.2). RB 29 Emilio Martinez 28 Terrence Smith SCORING THREAT FB 43 Brandon Micale - Dalton Kincaid has proven last year’s results as a scoring threat were no fluke as the sophomore tight end has hauled in three 45 Dominic Graziani touchdowns in two games so far this season. RE 14 Jacob Bergstrom He ran a kickoff back for a 93-yard touchdown in the game against UC Davis, finishing the day with 152 kick return yards (162 all- 90 Joel Daul purpose). The kickoff return touchdown was the third of Armstead’s career. Armstead, who was the 2018 PFL Special Teams Player NB 47 Kama Kamaka of the Year, has won the conference’s weekly honor three times in his two-year career. 34 Daq Irby MB 58 Marcus Vaivao » C SPECIALIZING IN THE RETURN 50 Kyle Bilchik - Wide receiver and kick returner Michal Armstead has proven to be a big-time playmaker in special teams again this season as he WB 50 Kyle Bilchik is first in the FCS in combined kick return yards (373), fifth in average yards per kick return (33.5) and one of 11 players with a kick 47 Kama Kamaka return touchdown.. LCB 25 David Tolbert 24 Mato Pacheco - The product of Monterey, Calif. leads all active players in the NCAA (Divisions I, II and III) in career kickoff return average (32.6). SS 26 Bryan Kelly 4 Victor Lopez - Armstead is currently the only Torero to average more than 30 yards per kick return in a career. While he is averaging 32.6 yards FS 6 Hunter Nichols per return over the last two years, he has a clip of 33.5 yards per kick return so far this season. 40 Isaac Haney RCB 3 Cassius Johnson - Armstead currently sits seventh in USD history with 1,175 career kick return yards.
