With the vision to empower young Futuremakers to unleash their power in creating positive social impact, the programme offers a 2-month summer internship and personal growth journey designed in partnership with leading social enterprises, startups and corporates in Hong Kong; supporting local youth to explore urban social issues and develop entrepreneurship skills across sectors with a like-minded community. Program Duration: 1 June to 13 August 2021 New Urban Bootcamp Jun 1 - 4 Participants attend a 4-day bootcamp at SVhk with immersive learning experiences for personal growth and community engagement Internship Placement, Workshops and New Urban Project July 7 – Aug 13 10-week internship at matched social enterprises Workshops hosted by SVhk and partners Develop project ideas with mentorship and network support Showcase Late Aug (TBC) Celebrate and showcase learnings with partners and the community WHO CAN APPLY? There are 2 major projects under Impact Lifestyle: • WE+: a brand new e-Commerce platform of products, services and experiences for social good. Consumers can therefore easily make positive impact and support homegrown businesses, community empowerment, eco or social start-ups, and micro-entrepreneurs in Hong Kong.
