In that time the institution has seen rapid growth of its facilities and a bevy of T academic accolades. On the construction front, work is under way on a state-of-the-art Applied Engineering Complex; a new soccer complex and additional skyboxes at the Joan C. Edwards stadium are nearing completion; and the university’s presence is even being felt in downtown Huntington as the six-story former Stone & Thomas department store is being transformed into a Visual Arts Center. Academically, the Forensic Science Master’s program was selected #1 in the U.S. by the American Board of Criminalistics; U.S. News & World Report ranked Marshall #16 among the Top Public Regional Universities in the South; and the school’s newly formed School of Pharmacy and School of Physical Therapy are up and running, with more students applying to each.
