SUMMER 2010 IT’S FAIR TIME! ★ ★ 35th Annual ★ FAIR in the WOODLANDS FINDLAY TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY FAIR PARADE ROUTE 30 CLOSING All residents should be aware that Route 30 in Clinton will be closed on ★ Saturday morning, August 21st from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for the Findlay Township Community Fair Parade. Motorists will be required to use Washington and Potato Garden Run Roads as a detour during the parade. Traffic delays may also occur on the day of the Semi-Great Race and Fun Walk on Friday, August 20th at 7:00 p.m. as runners cross Route 30 while complet- ing the race course. The estimated time of the delay will be around 45 minutes. Entrants must be a Pennsylvania resident. For the Cocoa Cake contest, entry must be a layered cake made from scratch and frosted using a minimum of 1/4 cup of Hershey’s Cocoa and, if frosted, Hershey’s Cocoa must be used. Cake entries must be submitted for judging on cardboard. For the Baking Chips Cookie, Brownie or Bar Contest, exhib- itor must be a Pennsylvania resident (age 8 through and includ- ing 18 years ONLY). Entries must be a plate of six made from scratch using a minimum of 1/4 cup of Hershey’s Baking Chips. If the entry is frosted, Hershey’s Cocoa must be used. Entry must be submitted for judging on a doily covered cardboard. Premiums for both categories are $10 for First Place, $8 for Second Place, and $6 for Third Place. Each winner is eligible to enter his/her entry at the 2011 PA Farm Show to compete for cash prizes. Premiums at the 2011 ★ PA Farm Show are: 1st = $500, 2nd = $250, 3rd = $100. 1 HERE IT IS!!
